We are an International Dark Sky Park with magnificent views of the Lake Fork of the Gunnison River and the
surrounding San Juan Mountains.
We are building an education center on the toe of the Slumgullion Earthflow, recognized by the National Park Service and other federal and state entities for its value to science and education. The Slumgullion Center will be our future headquarters and base of operations for all of our programs. Join our mailing list and receive updates on our forthcoming strategic plan for 2021-2025.
Our visitors will recreate at our facilities, engage in conservation activities, and become inspired to be good stewards of our public lands.
