Please help us complete our lake fork river enhancement project

Picture
The LFVC staff is overflowing with gratitude for the public support we've received, for the River Enhancement Project so far. Thanks to our generous donors, we have completed river channel construction on Henson Creek and its confluence with the Lake Fork. on  was fully funded, and completed on October 31st, 2015. Now, the gears are turning for Phase II!

Phase II will focus on the Lake Fork of the Gunnison River to the north of the 8 1/2 St. Bridge at the north end of town.

The next phase will include a new river park and trail system at the north end of Lake City and the completion of river channel improvements between Henson Creek and 8 1/2 Street Bridge.
