Upper Gunnison Basin Watershed Management Planning

Working together to create a plan we can all get behind.

Lake Fork Valley Conservancy, the Upper Gunnison River Water Conservancy District, Trout Unlimited, Stockgrowers Association and more have partnered together to write watershed management plans for sub-basins within the Upper Gunnison Basin that will ensure the quantity of the river stays the same for years to come.
Please join us as we change the future of our watershed.

We can't write this plan without your help. The Lake Fork Valley Conservancy will be hosting meetings and think tanks to work with the community in gaining more insight into your world. How do you use your water? What concerns you the most about your watershed? These questions and more need to be answered and can only be answered by you.

We love new projects!
Let's get started.
