Day 1 Overview

Friday - June 12 | Art & Atmosphere

​

​Location: The Arts Center & Town Park

​

Enjoy current gallery exhibits, a cash bar, and light snacks available throughout the evening.

 

  • Guided Art Activity: Join local artist Maddie Bloomer for a creative painting session $30 pp. Materials provided and no experience necessary! 

  • Evening Screening: Relax with a featured film to kick off the weekend’s festivities.

  • Star Gazing: Relax in the town park with a guided tour of the stars.

Day 2 Overview

Saturday - June 13 | Science & Stars

Exploration & Discussions

Location: The Mountaineer Theatre

Start the day with breakfast and a series of engaging talks from Colorado-based guest speakers covering a wide range of disciplines in the world of astronomy.

 

Hands-On Discovery 

Location: Lake City Community School 

Learn from some of the state's leading scholars through interactive science and technology sessions.

Afternoon movie screening

Location: Slumgullion Pass 

Join us for an unparalleled stargazing experience at one of the darkest sky destinations in the United States.​​
