Environmental Education
In 2023 the Lake Fork Valley Conservancy partnered with the Lake City Community School to launch an environmental education program to immerse Lake City's youth in the landscape in which they live. Made possible by support from the Upper Gunnison River Water Conservancy District, The Jacob & Terese Hershey Foundation, the Town of Lake City, the San Juan Solstice Race, the Pioneer Jubilee Women's Club and many more (including you, volunteers!)
